Visibly rejuvenated skin can generally be seen after just 6-8 days following a procedure, with results further improving over time. A course of Dermapen™ sessions is usually recommended to achieve optimal results; however, improvement is usually noticeable after just one treatment.

Generalised rejuvenation can be achieved in as little as 3 treatemtns. Conditions such as scarring and stretch marks may require minimum 5 sessions. Depending on the condition being targeted, treatments are performed every 4-8 weeks.

AM I A SUITABLE CANDIDATE ?
It is highly likely this treatment is suitable for you. The conditions which make a patient unsuitable would be discussed at consultation, but treatment is not advised if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or undergoing IVF.
IS THIS TREATMENT SAFE?
Treatment is administered by a qualified, trained practitioner, they are considered to be a very safe treatment with extremely low complication rate.
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Treatment is relatively comfortable and has a light vibrating sensation on the skin. Numbing cream will be applied prior to treatment
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
There is minimal downtime after skin needling. Redness is to be expected and can last for around 24 - 48 hours.

TREATMENT FREQUENCY?
Results can be visible after just one treatment, however for optimum results we recommend 3 - 6 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. This is dependant on the individual and their skin concerns.
WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE ADVICE?
Aftercare will be discussed during your consultation however SPF is a MUST after treatment.
