TREATMENT
DERMAL FILLER

Dermal fillers are a popular form of injectable procedure that can be effective to help create a volumised, plumped and lifted look to the face resulting in a natural and youthful appearance by replacing lost volume due to the signs of ageing.

They are commonly used to treat wrinkles and creases in the skin, tear troughs, lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and give a more defined youthful facial structure when used as an alternative to a traditional surgical facelift.

Dermal fillers are made from synthetic material consisting of a naturally occurring gel in our bodies called Hyaluronic Acid. It is designed to restore facial volume by reducing the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles creating a more youthful complexion. Dermal filler is non-permanent, it is broken down in the body over a period of time.

The effects of dermal filler treatment is visible instantly. By restoring lost volume, your skin will look smoother and softer, giving you a refreshed and rejuvenated youthful look.

Immediately after treatment, the treatment area may be slightly red, swollen and/or bruised. The risk of side effects is minimal. The practitioner will ensure thorough cleansing of the skin and careful injection placements which will reduce these risks.
